Unfortunately, there is no patent remedy to solve sleep problems.
Basically, however, you will get very far if you keep a sleep diary. What this exactly this, you will find out now.
By the help of a sleeping diary, you can observe and record important sleep factors over a longer period of time.
We recommend that you analyze your sleep habits in detail for 2 to 4 weeks. There are qualitative and quantitative levels.

On the quantitative level, you write down how long you slept, how often you woke up and how long it took you to fall asleep. You also write down when you went to bed and got up in the morning.
The qualitative level evaluates above all the quality of sleep. First of all, it is about your energy level immediately after getting up. What is often forgotten is the tiredness or the energy level for the whole day.
Observe your energy level closely during the day and record phases in which you feel very tired.

Be aware that causes for sleep problems can be on different levels. Write down how you feel psychologically and use a personal diary to make your thoughts visible.
We also recommend that you keep a stress diary. In this way, you will get to know different stressors that may have an effect on your thoughts and your sleep quality.
